I took these a few days ago...before all the rain started.
4 of the 6 tomato plants have babies on them.
The hydrangea bush is just about to explode.
This is a "weed" that's growing in our honeysuckle.
*thank you Gloria for identifying my "weed" as a Sweet Pea!

Those pretty pink "weeds" in the last photo are sweet peas. My categorization of those delicate flowers would be wildflowers flown in by bird. My grandmother used to buy seed packets of them and sow them along the fencerow that was the backdrop for her garden. Thanks for the memory.
What kind of tomatoes are you growing?
Tomatoes
white - Cream Sausage
cherry - Yellow Pear
red - Elberta Girl
pink - Julia Child
purple - Japanese Black Trifele
stripe - Mr. Stripey
I tried Mr. Stripey last year but wasn't impressed. And whoa--there's a tomato named after Julia Child? Did you grow this from seed? I'll have to look for some for next year.
I bet your tomatos are HUGE now after all of the rain/sun we had over the long weekend! I can't wait to see all of your different types... I'm only growing roma's (the goal is salsa) and a few beefsteak's for sandwiches!
